Decent watch, slow delivery

I wouldn't risk it for swimming. They're usually fine for splashes and rain, but not really meant for full immersion. Like, okay for washing hands but probably not a shower.

I've had both! Hexter & Baines feels a little bit more premium for the same kind of minimalist style. The quality feels better, especially the straps. DW is fine but I think H&B is a step up.

how do the mesh straps adjust? is it easy to do yourself or do i need a special tool?

Super easy! They usually come with a little tool, or you can even use a small flathead screwdriver to pop open the clasp and slide it to adjust. Took me literally 30 seconds.
